Who we are

Hushlead is a pre-launch product in early access. It is run by Umut Güden, an individual based in Istanbul, Türkiye. For the purposes of Türkiye's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller is Umut Güden (trading as Hushlead).

The short version

This site collects very little. It remembers your cookie choice in your own browser. If you book a demo, Cal.com handles the booking. If you email us, we receive your email. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which sees the technical details every web host sees. No analytics or advertising tracking runs today.

What we collect and why

Your cookie choice

When you choose an option in the cookie banner or preferences, your browser saves that choice in its local storage under the key hushlead_consent. It records which categories you allowed (necessary, analytics, advertising), a version number and the time you chose. It is not a cookie, it stays in your browser and it is not sent to us.

Demo bookings

The demo page at hushlead.com/demo embeds Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. Cal.com loads as soon as that page opens. When you book, Cal.com collects your name, email address and the booking details you enter, and shares the booking with us so we can hold the call. Cal.com processes this under its own privacy policy. The demo call is set up as a Google Meet meeting, so Google also processes the meeting details as the video call provider. We use booking details only to arrange, hold and follow up the demo you asked for.

Emails

If you write to hello@hushlead.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever your message contains. We use it to reply to you. Emails to hello@hushlead.com are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox operated by Umut Güden.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details (such as the page requested, the time and your browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Sign-in and sign-up pages

The sign-in and sign-up pages at app.hushlead.com do not send or store anything you type. The forms submit nowhere, and the product they will lead to is not live yet.

Analytics and advertising

No analytics or advertising tracking runs on this site today. We plan to add some to measure which pages and messages are useful. It will only run if you allow it in the cookie preferences, and we will update this policy and the Cookie Policy before any is added.

Legal bases

We rely on these grounds under KVKK and the GDPR:

• Demo bookings: taking steps you asked for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who want to talk to us.
• Emails: our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us.
• Hosting and security: our legitimate interest in running the site and keeping it safe.
• Your cookie choice: storing it is needed to respect the choice you made.
• Future analytics and advertising: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who receives your data

We do not sell your personal data. It reaches these services only as described above: Cal.com (scheduling), Google (the Meet video call), Cloudflare (hosting and email forwarding) and our mailbox provider. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

International transfers

Cal.com, Google and Cloudflare may process your data outside Türkiye, the EU and the UK, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside Türkiye, the EU or the UK, we rely on the safeguards the providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, and on the transfer mechanisms permitted under KVKK and the GDPR. You can ask us for details.

How long we keep it

Booking details, and the related correspondence, are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted, unless a longer period is required by law or you become a customer. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear your browser storage. Cal.com, Google and Cloudflare keep data under their own policies.

Your rights

Under KVKK (Article 11) and the GDPR you can:

• ask whether we hold data about you and get a copy of it;
• ask why we use it and who we have shared it with, in Türkiye or abroad;
• have it corrected if it is wrong;
• have it deleted;
• object to how we use it, or ask us to limit it;
• withdraw consent you gave, without affecting what happened before;
• receive data you gave us in a portable format, where the GDPR applies;
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing, under KVKK.

To use any of these rights, email hello@hushlead.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will reply within 30 days under KVKK, or within one month under the GDPR.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority: the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu) in Türkiye, the data protection authority in your EU country, or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when what the site does changes, and change the date at the top.
